Remingtons restaurant Decent meal downtown for a quick bite or sit down dinner. A bit on the expensive side but a neat area to grab a bite and drink. Right across from millennium Park this place has some great views street side

Real experience
Yesterday, I made a reservation for Remington’s online just a couple of hours before going in on a whim, just wanting to try something new. My spouse and I went in and immediately loved the ambiance, with dim lighting and a wine wall. We were seated in a side room with wood walls and a candle-lit table. I ordered the pork chop and my spouse got the salmon. Both meals were fantastic, as well as their signature drinks. We will definitely be coming back in the future

We were out for a weekend getaway to the Lake Front area and we found this place while searching for lunch place super close to the giant bean. They have the best French dip I have ever had in my life so far. My girlfriend ordered the Sixty South Salmon, and she was very satisfied with its texture and richness. Remember not every place have the good salmon to offer! We visited the Museum of Illusions close by, and we got a complementary Guacamole/nachos dip for that! All you need is to show your museum tickets to the waiter to get the appetizer. The service was good and swift. Big five stars

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Remington’s. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was exceptional. The prime rib hash for brunch was a highlight with perfectly poached eggs and lean prime rib. The steak salad impressed with deliciously seasoned and crust on the steak slices. The French dip and fish sandwich received high praise from both my mom and dad. Overall, a delightful dining experience with great food variety. Additionally, the attentive visit of the manager, who came by to check on us, added a nice personal touch to our dining experience at Remington’s. It’s always appreciated when the staff goes the extra mile to ensure guests are satisfied.

Amazing. We ate here for lunch. All for of us had the fish sandwich…amazing. The service was on point. Wait staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Manager/owner brought us our oysters and checked up on us. We came back the next day for brunch. Another fabulous experience. Bloody Marys were fabulous. Had the eggs Benedict ..the waiter was great. Gave us a few pointers for our next trip back. Thank you!!! Not sure why this place is not packed every day

At first glance, Remington’s looks to be a tourist trap strategically placed across from Millennium Park on prime Michigan Avenue real estate. But it’s far from that. The food is GOOD with a simple but varied menu that doesn’t really change. The crab toast, one of my favorites, is a mainstay. Also love their breakfast options. The service is always good. I’ve never had a bad experience. And they are usually playing “the game” (Bears, Bulls, Sox etc.) A bit pricey but not ridiculous. Oh and the drinks The Paloma will have you walking out with an extra pep in your step
